Do we need to audit the factory to apply for explosion-proof certification?
Currently,Domestic explosion-proof certificate does not require factory reviewOnly samples need to be provided, and the certificate is only responsible for the samples.
If the product being applied for isBelonging to the explosion-proof 3C certification directory, it should be carried out in accordance with the national mandatory product certification rules, namely the "product testing factory review" method.
International explosion-proof certification is stricter than domestic certification. For example, applying for an IECEx certificate requires factory review regardless of explosion-proof type or level; Except for Zone 2, ATEX does not require factory inspections, both Zone 0 and Zone 1 require factory inspections.
With the inclusion of some explosion-proof products in the scope of CCC product certification in China, it means that explosion-proof products within the scope of explosion-proof 3C certification must adopt the certification method of "type test factory review".
